Buyers will fall in love....

There’s a little secret in staging a home to sell in the Toronto real estate market. Don’t stage it, style it! What does that mean? It means that your home looks like it has been professionally decorated and styled by an interior designer. It still looks like a home….a home you’d dream to live in, worthy of a magazine spread. Traditionally ‘staged’ houses do not look like this. They look….staged. It’s obvious and they appear very contrived and cold. You want your home to feel warm, inviting and loved. Buyers need to feel an emotional attachment to a home and I’ve never seen a ‘staged’ home convey the right feelings.

At Page & Percival we style your home.

Before & After

Why Style?

Because it has been proven time and time again to be one of the most successful strategies you can use to sell your home for the most money in the shortest amount of time possible. Most buyers don’t have vision. Even we think the house is worth more when we’re finished styling it!

Do you live in a popular neighbourhood where it seems like houses just sell themselves? Think staging isn’t needed because buyers will be lining up at your door regardless of how your home shows? Think again.  It simply doesn’t work that way. Buyers need to develop an emotional attachment to your home and when they do, the place more VALUE on the property.

Remember that you’re selling the potential of the home, so make it magazine worthy.

What's Involved?

Styling your home goes beyond just de-cluttering. We’ll give your home a makeover, transforming it into a showstopper! Unless your home has been recently painted in a broadly appealing neutral paint colour, we’ll recommend a fresh coat of our secret home-selling colour! Next we’ll complete an audit of your current furniture, art, accessories, light fixtures & window treatments – what stays and what goes.

Every property is different, some just need an injection of on-trend accessories or a pop of colour here and there. Others need a complete makeover. Either way, we’ve got you covered. We share our office with Home & Away Interiors, who carry an assortment of custom furniture that we rent to style your home.
